S O Z A I Exhibition Report
A report on the ”S O Z A I Exhibition” held in the LIFE DESIGN gift show from Wednesday, August 30, 2010 to Saturday, September 2, 2017.

This time the booth was expanded from the last time to show the leather materials on one piece. The leather material and leather string was exhibited on a flatbed, as was well received at other exhibitions, the introduction of photographs of processing scenery was added for an overall simple look.
Atmosphere at the Venue
Like last time the venue was a wonderful space inside the gift show “LIFE × DESIGN” setup as a concept “SOZAI exhibition” that was full of various “MADE IN JAPAN” products such as traditional techniques like pottery, wooden pieces, Nishijin weaving etc.
Basically, there were many buyers from the interior space looking for new types of building materials.
Reaction to Hashimoto Industry
I felt the interest was mainly from those who already had a vague interest in leather materials, however there are still a few hurdles such as flame retardancy and the narrow area of use remaining before being used widely as building materials.
Meanwhile, other people dealing with stationery and interior goods were more receptive to the richness of our leather material and the techniques of strap processing, and showed interest in actually using our products.
