May Tokyo Leather Fair Report

Booth image

This time, the exhibition method was redesigned for both leather straps and leather material. The leather straps were exhibited not on bobbins but on a rolled board, and the leather material was exhibited on a flatbed, not a wall hanging. The wall was unified with our brand colour navy with an overall simplistic theme.

New Regina Material

This Leather Fair featured the debut of the new Regina material. Although it is a full tannin leather, by drum tanning it features a soft and easy to use texture. By introducing wax into the dyeing stage it also features a modest glossy look that is finished with a fine grainy feel produced by blank beating for 12 hours.

Strap Processing

This time, rather than display on bobbins, a mount was produced to display them on a rolled board. The theme of the display was based on an ‘Overseas Handicraft Shop’ and was well received by everyone.

U.S.DUCK

U. S. DUCK which is the only fabric material in our range. It is a material characterised by a lightness and soft touch not seen before, produced by carefully yet roughly weaving thick yarn of the same count as Canvas No. 1.
It was well received by everyone and was definitely not inferior to any of the leather materials.

Pigskin

Continuing on from last time, the ”MADE IN TOKYO” pig leather was exhibited.
Both “Washi print” which conjures up images of Japanese culture and “Pig Latigo”, a leather of wild expression redefining the image of traditional pig leather, were received well.
